Jorah is the son of Jeor Mormont, and former Lord of Bear Islamd. He participated in the rebellion of the Greyjoys, to prerequisites was he being knighted by King Robert Baratheon. Later on, after regarding Bear Island as lord, his treasury ran small, so he started slavery to support his wife. He was exiled by Nee Stark. He went to Essos, and had met Dany in Pentos.
