| It was a beautiful evening that had fallen the day after Ser Adrian's knighting. And while it may had been a happy ending to a story with a knight meeting knighthood, Cersei still had business to attend to with him. She planned to equip him well worth, and to have a few to fall by his sword. But that wasn't her motive as of now. He had been out of her grasp and influence for awhile now, but not likely to forget what she gave and could give him. But she had much to convince him.
She sat at her table in her chambers, with the terrace open, wind blushing the furs and woolen drapes, and tussling her black dress. She wore a golden half-cloak across her dress in the eastern toga style, with her hair meeting two braids into one. She was warm with the hearth, even if it were colder than usual outdoors.
She nibbled at a hard-boiled egg and washed it down with vintage wine, that was especially dry. Wicked taste, she thought of the wine. She awaited for her guards to escort Ser Adrian. He was most likely annoyed with the constant hassle of with the guards. |

Adrian had been practicing his swordsmanship when the familiar Lannister guards arrived. The newly appointed knight had already grown tired of having to be escorted by Lannister guards every time he wished to see his queen. He understood it for most people, but he wasn't in the situation most people were. The queen had arranged for his knighthood personally, and yet he couldn't see her when he wanted. Regardless, the prospect of seeing Cersei made his heart skip a beat. The last he'd seen of her, she'd seemed upset, tense. He hoped now he'd have the ability to speak to her more openly.
Adrian, Ser, he had to remind himself. He was Ser Adrian now. Ser Adrian entered the room, with the Lannister Guards staying outside. He was dressed in a blue and gold tunic, his sword hanging from his belt. No, not his sword, a sword he'd taken from the armory. His sword was still somewhere near Darry, likely being wielded by some bandits. As soon as his queen gave him leave of the Red Keep, he'd make his way to Darry, he'd reclaim his sword, and he'd avenge his father. Now, however, he had more pressing matters.
The queen, for example. His queen was... indescribable in her beauty, wholly incomparable. To compare her to the sun, the moon, the stars, would all be insulting to her beauty. For just one moment, Ser Adrian stood in shock, before quickly kneeling. "My queen. Do you have need of me?"

| "Have need of you?" she shook her head. "Of course I have need of you. I thought it was clear the day I knighted you. But perhaps some horses are faster than others," she frowned. Cersei disliked his guttural wits. She almost could wish for a Tyrion right now. But the imp is everywhere, I don't need to see him any longer," she ravaged the thought.
She sat at her tables in her chambers drinking vintage wine. It tasted dry. "Guards, you're dismissed," she said in a cold voice. She gazed at Adrian. "Why don't you sit?" she said. "We have much to talk about," She wanted his opinions on Sansa. Deep opinions. And she wanted him to reveal to Sansa what relations Cersei shared with him. It should hurt coming from him. She sipped more wine. It was two cups downed, and her head was in order. |

Adrian nodded and took a seat across from Cersei, pouring himself a glass of wine. He remembered the last time he'd had wine, and this time he intended to go slower. He didn't want to get drunk when his queen needed him. The knight sipped the wine carefully, watching his queen. He hoped this conversation would go more the way of their meeting in the garden, rather than when he was knighted, and his wandering eyes made that hope very clear.
Ser Adrian was willing to do anything for his queen, he didn't need her to use her body as compensation, but still... he could feel a fluttering in his stomach, his heard pounding, whenever he looked at her. When she'd sent the guards out of the room, Adrian hoped beyond hopes she wanted him for more than just some task. She was, of course, the Queen, so he understood, but it still hurt everytime she seemed to use him as more of a tool than anything else. He supposed his queen needed to hold up appearances.
"Of course, your grace. You know I'd do anything you ask of me," Adrian said, blushing faintly. He was telling the truth, he'd do whatever he could to serve his queen.

| Cersei observed him for a moment. He seemed straighter and more mightier since being knighted, but looked rather drowsy. "Of course I know, elsewise you wouldn't be here," she said. She drunk more wine, and began pouring more. "Tell me how Sansa feels about our relationship," she demanded. She already knew that he lost likely hadn't said anything and that the Stark was as clueless as ever. She untied the laces bound of her dress on her chest, and her supple breasts let loose. She slipped a sleeve from her dress and her chest was now exposed. She stood up and sat on Adrian's lap.
"Tell me, Jaime," she moaned. It was her only satisfaction of him without his presence. She bounced back to the thought of him. Could he be dreaming of me? she wondered. She felt Adrian's legs. She did her best to seduce him. It always worked with Jaime, and he always fell under her spell, and she fell to his seed. Adrian was younger and easier to manipulate. "My knight, help your Queen," she moaned louder. By now, she was fully naked, and had begun to loosen the straps of Adrian's armor. His muscles below were beginning to show.

Adrian nodded as she asked him about Sansa. He'd wanted Cersei to stop worrying about the Lady Stark. He'd made an oath, and he intended to keep it, but he wouldn't betray his Queen for her. But, it seemed his Queen wanted more. "Sansa is... I haven't told..." Adrian trailed off, losing focus as his queen began undressing in front of him. Cersei moved over and sat on his lap, and he continued, blushing heavily. "I... haven't told her. I didn't think you wanted people to know... what we're doing, isn't... the King might be mad." By the time he was finished talking, his Queen was naked, and trying to undress him.
Adrian, absolutely under Cersei's spell, began undoing the straps on his armor, and pulling his clothes off. After his armor was on a neat pile on the floor, Adrian pulled off his tunic, and began unlacing his breeches. When his clothes were off, and he'd answered her question, Adrian tried to kiss his Queen. In that moment, Adrian would have done and accepted anything his Queen wanted him to do. "I love you, my queen..."

| It was a strong feeling Cersei felt in her. It was as if her stomach was emptying itself to ready for the excitement in the shadows to fall. She ignored his words about Sansa. She saw his naked, muscular body, and had begun. "Love must be earned," she gasped.
-Fade to black-
Adrian had finished, and his seed had streamed into Cersei. She worried it may be another child to thank Adrian for. Either way, she wouldn't mind. She stood up, and graced herself in linen robes. "Sir with me," she held her tongue from harsher words as she sat down at her wine table. "Drink," she said as she poured a cup of jasmine and lemon wine. It was a strong and hype drink indeed. She figured it would be easier to talk Lannister sense into the knight. "The Stark girl. Tell me how you think she'd feel about us?" Cersei wickedly smiled. She couldn't help herself to hold back a chuckle.

Adrian could only wonder what it was exactly he'd done to earn Cersei. His Queen was truly incredible, and although she could likely have any man, she was lying with him. He was her knight, her steed, and he would be loyal. He'd earn her love, he vowed, as she wanted. After it was done, he wanted to simply hold Cersei for a while, but his Queen wanted something different, and he was not one to argue. Adrian pulled at least his pants on, before sitting across from his queen, blushing faintly.
He sipped the wine cautiously. He needed to be fully alert for his queen, whenever she needed him. "Well, your grace, I think... I don't know if she would understand. she's very afraid of your family, your grace. After her father, she... has not had a pleasant time in the capitol." He frowned slightly, and crossed his arms over his bare chest. "I don't like talking about her whilst we're together. I only want to think of you when I'm with you. The Lady Stark is unimportant compared to you, my queen," Adrian said. He always felt uncomfortable when Cersei talked about Sansa with him, and he had trouble explaining exactly why.

Cersei shook her head as if she understood. But she quickly stood up. "She has every right to fear my family," she said. "But it seems Ned Stark wasn't the only traitor," she smiled. She looked at him. "You've been sneaking around this castle and bedding me while the Stark girl is alone, with no appropriate protection," she protested. Her intentions were to have Adrian tell Sansa his relationship with Cersei, to break them apart, and to leave Sansa be. She walked to the balcony and stared out at the distant lights of lanterns and torches out in the city. "Sansa must know of us. Tell her soon, or else I will do what I must to...keep her from tears," she chuckled. She admired the wind that had befallen on the city, and had rushed through the balconies and windows of the Red Keep. It was as if the nights seemed to play the game along with Cersei. And rightfully so. Adrian Sapner

Adrian listened carefully, a frown weighing on his features. He didn't want to tell Sansa. He didn't want to have any trouble, he liked having Cersei without having to worry about anything, even if it did mean sneaking about quite a lot. Regardless, he was sure his Queen knew more than he did, and she had to have a good reason, didn't she? He was sure, although the absolute trust and confidence he'd had in his Queen was wavering slightly. If she was truly so pure and innocent and lovely, why did she want him to tell Sansa what they were doing? It could only bring pain to the Lady Stark, and Adrian... didn't want that. At all.
"I'll tell her, my Queen, if that is what you want. I... do not think it is a particularly good idea. I don't think Sansa would like it, and she's to be marrying the King. If Joffrey finds out about what we've been doing, he might tear us apart. You are my Queen, and I, your loyal servant, but I don't think this is the best way to handle her Lady Stark." He bowed his head humbly as he said the words. He had sworn an oath to serve Cersei, but he'd also sworn one to protect Sansa. Of course, he loved his Queen, he didn't love Sansa. Adrian was torn.

| "I am a lioness. I will not cringe for them."
"Honesty is what measures a relationship," Cersei said coldly. She thought back to Jaime. She wondered if Jaime would disapprove of her indulgence in Ser Adrian. What am I thinking...of course he would disapprove, she thought. Cersei pulled her curtains shut over the balcony. "Ser Adrian, it was me who had you knighted. Not the Stark girl," She gaped at his armor. That armor belongs to a hedge knight, not a lion's knight, she thought. She would scavenge the keep for more suitable armor. Elsewise, send for the Free Cities for special armor, like Tyrion had to do, because of his deformity. The scowling imp... she silently insulted her mother's killer.
"It's dawning late, Ser Adrian. Perhaps it would be ideal to return to your chambers with an escort," she closed their conversation dismissively. "And remember...Sansa isn't bush on the morrow, mind you. An ideal time to visit," she wickedly smiled. The Lion can train prey to hunt, she remembered her father's saying. |
